Event Project Management System Pty Ltd is a consultant for event management, training event managers and an event company in its own right. The company specialises in event feasibility studies and using the web as a tool of event organisation. Whether it is setting up an event system, contract negotiation, risk management, cost control, event documentation or site planning and setup, EPMS has the experience in Australia and overseas.
The company principal, William O'Toole, has widespread experience of event management ranging from coordinating the Paddington Festival of Arts and Heritage to corporate promotional events. He formed the Larrikin Booking Agency in partnership with Larrikin Records, to create an Australian entertainment agency. It wasn't long before the agency was organizing every aspect of the events.
Bill is coauthor of Australia's only textbook on event management : Festival and Special Event Management (J. Wiley, 1999, 2002, 2005). He is a member of the Project Management Research Group at the University of Sydney.
Recently EPMS.NET worked as event consultants to the Centenary of Federation, Australia Day Council, Australian Heritage Commission and the Newcastle City Council.
