STAGE SAFETY

A well constructed stage preferably professionally done by a company with adequate insurance
Clear well lit access points to the stage
All protrusions and steps secured and clearly marked
Equipment and boxes placed out of the way and well marked
Work lights that provide are white lighting before and after the event
All electric cabling secured
First aid kit and other emergency equipment at hand
A clear guideline of who is in authority during an emergency
A list of all relevant contact numbers
Barriers to the audience coming into the performance area or danger areas
