Type of power: three phase or single phase
Amount of power needed; in particular at peak times
Emergency power
Position and number of power outlets
Types of leads and distance from power source to device
Correct wiring of the venue (old venues can often be improperly earthed)
The incoming equipment for their volt/amp rating
Safety factors including covering leads and possibility of electricity earth leakage as a result of rain
Local and state regulations regarding power
