  • Ministry of Water Resources of RPC delegates met ACEA Committee members on 28 September 1999 in Sydney.

    President James Yu, Executive Secretary Victor Fang and Committee Executive Member Dr. Judy Cao attended the meeting and provided the information about Australia's water resources and reservation to the delegates.

    The Chinese delegation was headed by WEI Bingcai, Head of the Department of Economic Regulation of Ministry of Water Resources.

  • On May 14, 1999, a meeting was held at 8pm in Royal Garden International Hotel, Sydney between ACEA, Australian Chinese Engineers Association and Shanghai Science and Technology Delegation.

    ACEA President James Yu (Soul Pattinson Pharmacy Laboratory), Executive Secretary Victor Fang (Sydney University) and Executive Member Dr. Judy Cao (Manidis Roberts Consultants), Dr. Xie Shicheng (Sydney University), Zhu Chongjie (Transfield) and George Tong (Sydney University) attended the meeting.

    The Chinese Delegation was headed by Lui Haitao, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Association for Science & Technology, Shanghai Science & Technology Development Foundation. The other members of the Delegation were He Zubin, Director of the Department of Popularisation, Shanghai Association for Science & Technology and Vice Director of the Department of International Exchanges, Shanghai Association for Science & Technology.

    During the meeting, the two parties agreed to establish an Internet Home Pages contact for further exchanges of information and technologies in future.

    The meeting was finished at 11 pm.

  • Mr. Zhao Xiaolin, Science & Technology Consul of the Consulate General of the PRC visited the University of Sydney on the 25th of June 1998. ACEA committee executive member Victor Fang was there to receive Consul Zhao.

    Mr. Fang introduced the University's communication network infrastructure, the data communication network topology and the new communication technologies used by the University. After the meeting, Consul Zhao was accompanied by Victor Fang to inspect the University computer room and the central communication equipment and control room at the University Computing Centre building.

  • Chinese Science and Technology delegation headed by Prof. He Lian, Chairman of Science and Technology Commission of Heilongjiang Provincial Government, PRC met the member of ACEA, Australian Chinese Engineers Association Committee in April 1997.

    After the arrangement by the Committee, the delegation visited the University of Sydney, Bond University and the University of Brisbane.

  • ACEA, Australian Chinese Engineers Association Committee received two delegations who visited Australia from Taiwan.

  • November, 1996, members of the ACEA, Australian Chinese Engineers Association led by the Association's Executive Secretary James Yu met the delegation of Taiwan Juornalist of Economy and Commerce in Sydney Continenal Hotel and gave them the seminars in a wide range of information about the situation of Australia's industries and commerces. Mr. Yu also answered the questions given by the delegators.

  • November 18, 1996, members of the ACEA, Australian Chinese Engineers Association led by the Association's Executive Secretary James Yu met the Delegation of Taiwan Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Sydney Chinese Culture & Education Centre. James Yu and other key members introduced Australia's industries to Taiwanese guests.

    37 members attended the meeting.
