Based on a design used on the Isle of Wight railway these
18 locomotives were purchased for suburban passenger service
but a serious accident saw them banned from this work. Withdrawals
commenced in 1905. 10 members of the class survived to the 1924
renumbering.
On 9/2/1928 Sold to NSW Associated Blue Metal Quarry at Prospect
(replacing F357)
