Charles Sturt University is a major regional, Government funded University with three campuses situated in the large inland cities of Bathurst, Wagga Wagga and Albury-Wodonga, in the central and southern areas of New South Wales. Each campus offers a pleasant, clean environment in which to study. Excellent modern teaching facilities, libraries and laboratories are readily available. The three cities provide a variety of social, shopping and sporting facilities.
The University has earned a reputation with employers for producing graduates who are prepared for immediate on-the-job performance. CSU is built on a strong tradition of face-to-face teaching, and on all campuses students have easy access to lecturers and support staff. Language Centres
Charles Sturt University’s English Language Centre, on the University campus at Wagga Wagga, is home to a variety of Intensive and Semi-Intensive English programs suitable for all potential students. CSU’s ELS Language Centre offers a direct link to the world-renowned network of 68 ELS Language Centre providers. Additionally, CSU offers conditional acceptance to any of its programs based on previous academic standards and successful completion of the ELS Language Centre Level 109 program. A variety of excursion opportunities ensure that your stay with us is informative both culturally and educationally. Courses commence every 4 weeks and students are placed on one of 10 levels, which allows students to reach their goals faster.
Accommodation
Student accommodation varies on each of the University’s campuses. Bathurst and Wagga Wagga campuses guarantee on-campus accommodation to all first year International students. Students studying at the Albury/Wodonga campus are housed either in the newly constructed on-campus accommodation or in shared flats and house, or homestays, which the University helps students to find.
Student Services
Each campus has an International Student Adviser. Students have easy access to library and computer facilities, sporting and recreational facilities, chaplains and counsellors, banks and health services. International student clubs have been established and interaction with the local communities provide excellent support.
Many aspects of the costs of living are cheaper in regional centres where Charles Sturt University is located, therefore, tuition, accommodation and transport costs are very reasonable.
