I'm a musicologist working at the Sydney Conservatorium (University of Sydney, Australia), where I am a Reader in Music, and Chair of the Musicology Unit. My particular interest is in contemporary art music, and most of my work has to do with post-war European avant-gardes. Many of my publications deal with music by Brian Ferneyhough and Karlheinz Stockhausen.

This page is still in an early stage of development. Plans for the near future include downloadable versions of articles now out of print, and English-language versions of articles published only in Dutch, French, German etc., as well as some unpublished conference papers, and previews of work-in-progress.
